Today’s One to Follow highlights the work of Allison Elebash Interiors. Based in Charleston, SC, Allison’s eponymous design firm creates interiors that are coastally inspired and luxurious but livable. historic beachfront project
The color palette is muted, but textures and organic materials infuse these spaces with personality. That porch swing would be the perfect spot to curl up with a book on a lazy Spring afternoon.

Here, Allison uses some modern shapes to add interest to traditional spaces. The green cabinetry in the butler’s pantry is a perfect reflection of the foliage outside the window.

These photos show how the use of a few bold selections can really elevate the design. Imagine the foyer sideboard without the tall palm fronds, the bedroom with a plain white bed, or the bunk room without the blue dresser. See how Allison’s use of those elements made the spaces pop?
marshside retreat project
This project exudes casual elegance. The powder room is so luxe, and those french doors are absolutely dreamy!
Stono river modern project
Here is a great example of mixing styles. The home is overall fairly modern in style, but Allison sprinkled in a few traditional elements here and there, which adds to the design’s sense of presence. Her addition of botanicals soften modern lines, and large black-framed windows draw the eye to the outdoors.

Love the use of pattern and texture in this home! The patterns are noticeable enough to add interest, but not so bold as to be overwhelming or distracting.
